Question T5 fog lamp

VW T5 2O10 plate, fog lamp not working

Know this sounds a bit odd and we thought we would fix this in minutes, but no

Testing everything we know, bulb wiring, a new light switch, scan testing and we have no faults on the scan tool.

There is no supply on the grey wire at the off/side rear light, the panel light for the fog light works on the dash.

Is there anywhere we should be looking?, and how is the circ: set up?, where best to start testing?

The fog light is needed for the MOT, we could rig one up somewhere if it can't be fixed, but it's not that easy, help please.

Hi, first thought was could be anything, but got me thinking, and I have had this before, and not just VW T5, but a number on new canbus cars and vans

Bet you have a tow bar fitted, check and see

Bet it's got the euro plug not the 7 pin like the old uk ones, check it's euro plug, with a uk 7 pin adaptor fitted.

If it is, pull out the uk 7 pin adaptor leaving just the euro plug, the adaptors pull and turn to remove, look close as at first you think it's just the old type and not the euro one with adaptor, test to see if the fog light works, bet it will.

Do let me know
Timbo
