Holly , we are still in lockdown and the car show was off today because of the rain ... Lisa x

Dongo , the Fleishmann track looks good , I had thought of Kato - but replacing a full loft layout would be costly , so it will be getting the Peco streamline in use again .
at the moment the Castle station area is drying (PVA) with granite ballast , had thought of gaugemaster pre ballasted foam but out of stock , like wise Peco foam but if available will be at least 10 years old .
last option is Woodland track bed and scatter ballast on it .

to be continued ...

when my dad had his trains up he just put some 220 grit sand paper down and the track on top of that. he also used black 400 grit wet dry for roads.

update - all track has been lifted and has been soaking in the bath for 48 hours , next is to gently scrub to remove any sticky residue (over 20 years of muck/dust and vardy grease ) , also the turnouts are soaking in a bucket .

Sounds like a lot of work, but will be nice when done.

Never thought there would be any classic car shows, but sounds like there are some going on

been quiet of late on the modeling , but got some track laid and had a few loco's running
once trains & track agree with each other , track will be ballasted ...

some test loco's - front one is Graham Farish Stanier 'black' 5

We thought you must have been up to something all this time.

Hope your Ladys are looking after you with cups of tea.

Nice to see the train layout coming on.

Remember we need Miss Tina over Christmas.
